No Apologies Here; No Fleas on These Dogs

While the Washington Post, to their credit, prominently featured an editorial admitting their mistake in accepting and pushing the Plame-Wilson plot to discredit President Bush, the New York Times, in an article shamelessly ignoring its role in the Wilson hoax and solicitous of the leaker, the Times finally, on a holiday weekend Saturday, mentions that Richard Armitage was the source of the leak of Plame’s identity. It focuses on whether Fitzgerald was right to continue the prosecution after he knew Novak didn’t learn about Plame from Rove or Libby. Every day, it seems, the Times attempts to sink to a new low.

Right after you published your piece, NPR had a large segment on this. They are typically very liberal but they went into depth about "how we all (the media) got this wrong" and how we fueled this...I was surprised by their candor
