Sometimes A Little Thing Makes It All Worthwhile
I sometimes feel like quitting this blog - feeling that I’m banging my head against a wall and preaching to the choir – and then some little thing happens that makes it all worthwhile.
I’ll explain: in 1985 Muslim terrorists hijacked an American plane, TWA Flight 847, in Lebanon and terrorized and brutalized the passengers on the plane as it sat on the Beirut Airport tarmac. One terrorist, Mohammed Ali Hamadi, murdered an American sailor as he sat on the plane, and his body was thrown out onto the pavement. The young man’s name was Robert Stethem.
The terrorist-murderer was later caught in Germany and spent time in a German prison before the Germans traded him for a German hostage in 2005. At that time I wrote a blog piece entitled, “I Remember Robert Stethem”. You can read that article if you like by clicking on the link.
The very nice thing that happened was that yesterday I got an e-mail from Robert Stethem’s sister who had reread my piece and felt it helped her a lot in facing the new year that a few of us still remembered and honored his memory.

I remember reading your post about Robert Stethem. The Lilly livered Liberals in this country can call these murderers whatever they please in their endeavor to coddle them and to appear not to offend them, but the fact remains that these beasts are terrorists and most of them are Islamists. In order to fight an enemy, you need to recognize them as the enemy. In short, these blood thirsty thugs are Islamic Terrorists. Apparently, Obama and his Liberal ilk are not ready to admit this in public and his plan for fighting them leaves a lot to be desired.
On Glen Beck's show tonight, Glen showed us one of the ornaments on the White House Christmas tree. It has a picture of Mao on it. Isn't that nice for an American president? How appropriate for a president with Marxist/Socialist leanings such as Barack Obama! I wounder if the "Lame Stream media" would care to elaborate on that, or should they poo poo it like they did when Obama's Green Czar, Van Jones was exposed as a 9/11 truther, not to mention that he was a convicted felon and an avowed Communist? These things are so obvious and they stick out like a sore thumb, but the fringe media refuses to report on it. Meanwhile, Chris Mathews still gets that tingle up his leg when he listens to Obama give a speech, but then, both he and Obama are great Saul Alinsky fans. What's wrong with this picture?
