They’ll Never Forgive Andrew Breitbart

We conservatives know we have lost a hero and an irreplaceable asset in the death of Andrew Breitbart, who died, somewhat mysteriously, earlier this week, at the age of 43.

Breitbart was a dedicated, conservative journalist who was passionate about exposing corruption – especially the corruption of leftist ideas and causes. He brought down the disgusting Anthony Weiner, and exposed one of the most corrupt schemes to steal taxpayer dollars with his coverage of the Pigford scandal.

Our biggest debt to Andrew, though, was his exposure of the ACORN corruption, the organization devoted to providing Democrat candidates with the votes of non-existent and deceased voters. It was largely through Breitbart’s efforts that ACORN was defunded.

While many are applauding Breitbart for his efforts, and some are honoring the tradition not to speak ill of the dead, many liberal talking heads have no such compunction or scruples:

The only people who believe this talking head are the people who want to believe him. This guy and the people who listen to him can be compared to 9/11 Truthers.

This idiot kind of resembles Bill Moyer. It's just the same crap coming from a different head.

Both Lawrence O'Donnell and Shirley Sherrod had kind words to say about Breitbart adhering to the dictum, "de mortuis nil nisi bonum". This in spite of the fact that Breitbart deliberately edited Ms. Sherrod's remarks to make her appear to be a racist (and got her fired in the bargain). As with many right wingers, he had no regard for truth and no concern for those he injured.

Anonymous, Just because Ms. Sherrod made some great-sounding comments didn't excuse her role in a criminal conspiracy to rip off American tax-payers. It would be like saying you should let a murderer go free because he said he was sorry in a great oration.

It seems that you too have little regard for the truth. What criminal conspiracy are you talking about? The woman was wronged by Breitbart's underhanded attack and fired as a result. No one would ever have heard of her, if it weren't for Breitbart.

I am talking, of course, about the Pigford scandal, which is what this whole affair is about.

I also am bothered by folks who edit film or text or whatever to distort the results and change the intent of the original party. That is wrong whoever does it.
