Gloria Allred and Herman Cain

Now that ultra left-wing attorney Gloria Allred has entered the offensive to destroy Herman Cain's reputation and presidential campaign, I have reached two conclusions: 1. Cain is innocent of charges of sexual harassment, and 2. this mission to destroy Cain is not directed by Rick Perry, but by supporters of Barack Obama. These are the same tactics used to try to destroy so many conservatives who pose a threat: Sarah Palin, George Bush, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork, Ray Donovan, Edward Meese, etc., etc. etc.

Fresh from her successful effort to destroy Meg Whitman with silly charges involving an illegal alien, (which succeeded in putting Jerry Brown into the governor's mansion in California - the same Jerry Brown whose policies and philosophy turned the golden state of California into a third world country), Ms. Allred has once again gained the TV cameras with this crude effort to destroy Cain.

You would think the people of this country would revolt against this baloney, but then you remember that O.J. Simpson and Casey Anthony went free, and that most people are more interested in the antics of Lindsay Lohan than in stopping the bankruptcy of the once-greatest country in the world.

I cannot support Mr. Cain's bid for the presidency; I can't see replacing a bumbling president with another neophyte whose knowledge seems pretty shallow, but I am truly outraged by the treatment this good man is getting. Get ready for blood on the floor once we Republicans actually choose our candidate.

Isn't it strange that they choose to come out with all these trumped up allegations right now? I call it good timing, and yes, I too believe that the Obama operatives are behind this. It only provides more of a smoke screen for his stupid screw ups.
Case in point: Obama, and French President Nicolas Sarkozy were overheard making condescending remarks about Benjamin Netanyahu behind his back. This so called president of ours really knows how to set the pace for international relations doesn't he? This is just another example of his BS diplomacy!

You are certainly right..Obama is scared stiff of Cain ..the accuser has been out of work for over six years and has had some run-ins with the law, certainly not a credible witness

I have a different take on this. I do not disagree about the validity of the claims or the timing. However, at least some of these charges were known to be coming and the response was extremely poorly managed and coordinated. That alone is telling. Not to mention the attempted blame of Perry. Not that it matters, neither Perry who blew most of the debates and Cain who was likely never a serious contender so in the end it does not matter. We are going to be "stuck" with Romney unless by some miracle Huntsmans bet-it-all on NH strategy works, and he gains momentum and magically catches fire with the rest of the states.

If you think Hermain Cain's thinking is shallow, you do not have a clear understanding of Herman Cain. I have listened to this man for several years when he has filled in for Neal Boortz on a national syndicated conservative talk show. He is well educated, holds two college degrees. Has played a major role in making several companys big profits. Helped a losing company (God Father's Pizza) become profitable. No he hasn't had any political experience. That's one of the reasons he is so popular. I think you are a little too hasty in writing this candidate off. He is the only person running for the Republican nomination that I could support. All the others have some serious flaws and/or are career pols with limited real life experience. Let's not nominate another John McCain type and lose another election.

You have arrived at 2 conclusions for which there is no evidence.

1.Noone knows whether Cain is guilty of sexual harassment except him and his accusers. You reached a conclusion without support.

2. There has been nothing to indicate involvement by Obama supporters in these accusations. Cain is not likely to be the nominee, and therefore of little interest to Dems.

Anonymous, you are correct. i have reached these conclusions based on a lifetime of watching what liberals do and four years of watching the disgusting activities of Barack Obama.

I agree that Herman Cain is not Presidential material, and we are most likely to get stuck with Mitt Romney for sure. It's just this sneaky underhanded dirty politics that go on in both parties that really gripes me. I get tired of it. These people are constantly trying to find a "there there" in every little misspoken word, or the crooked press in this country is always on the look out for some trumped up info from a blogger so they can run with it. Of course these throne sniffing Liberals are very selective of what they put out there. I'm tired of it.
I've reached a point where I would rather have Newt Gingrich in there than any of them.
Last night Brett Baer and the panel were interviewing Newt, and they ran a film clip of Newt and Nancy Pelosi talking about the importance of "Global Warming". When Brett Baer asked him to elaborate on it, Newt said that this was one of the dumbest things he has ever done in his life.
I like a politician who can stand up and admit his mistakes.
Now, why the heck couldn't Romney do that about his Romney health care here in Massachusetts instead of going through a ten minuet spiel about why he did what he did in my state?
I can't trust a guy like Mitt Romney. He lacks authenticity and he's all over the place on key important issues.
Newt on the hand, is one of the greatest debaters I've ever heard. Not only that but he's a great historian and this is exactly what we need in this country, not some Liberal GOP candidate who swings with the wind and certainly not this far Left incompetent fool we have now in the WH who is Hell bent on changing our history and turning this country into a big nanny state. Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it.
We all know what is happening in Spain, Greece, and Portugal. A leader would have to be uttery stupid and ignorant to follow in their foot steps and this is exactly the type of person running our country right now, and it's time to get him out. God help us if we don't pick the right person to replace him!

To Joe,
I take your point. Recently Cain was asked about his biggest surprise of this whole process and his answer was "how nitpicky the press is". And it's true that we have this tendency to disect every component of everything...including what word was said first, the inflection and pronunciation, which direction they were looking....I'm a news nut and I see this all the time and the press is never even satisfied with the latest news, they always have to ask what next. The speculation starts the very second anything happens.
Don't get me started on global warming though...
