I keep telling the Republican National Committee to stop calling me and stop sending me phony surveys and donation requests. Until you stop supporting RINOs (liberals in disguise) I'm not interested.

Russell Wilcox is a retired college professor who spends several months in Florida and several months in Rhode Island each year, and whose interests include boating and sailing, sports, political activism, ballroom dancing and bridge. He has an MBA from Harvard, a Computer Systems CAGS from Bryant and a BS from Northeastern. He has worked in industry for EG&G and Texas Instruments, operated his own business with more than 200 employees, and served as Director of the Computer Information Systems Program for Stonehill College. An Army veteran and private pilot, he is a published author, and is the proud father of four children and the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. A holder of two patents in microchip connections and a true product of the melting pot, his father is the son of a Yankee farmer, and his mother the first generation daughter of Italian immigrants who retained their culture, but strove mightily to become Americans, sending four sons to fight against Hitler and Mussolini.

I agree wholeheartedly with you Russ, the RNC has yet to pick up where the true conservatives and support lies. Until the RNC and the entire Congress recognize that the future of this country lies with the likes of people that have joined the tea parties and get the country where the people want to go there will be chaos in both parties. It appears that they are afraid of alligning themselves with this group and the more conservative Republicans that are beginning to emerge because they are afraid of the liberal press...hence they all become the RHINOS that are failing miserably. I have lost all respect for the direction the RNC has taken, all they seem to be capable of doing is opposing what the Democrats are doing and hopefully the disenfranchisment of the present administration. That is so short sided because even if they win in 2010 they will quickly end up as they did in 2008.
I agree with you Russ. I've been telling these people the same thing every time they called me looking for donations to the GOP. I could never support a party with Rinos. I'll stay unenrolled.

It's not even the "RINO" issue that bugs me so much as the reality that the GOP is just another form of tyranny if you get tired of the Democratic version.
When they make a stand on freedom and liberty and restoring constitutional principles to their proper place, then I may pitch some nickles their way.
